Beatriz Castaneda is the Director of Tax Information Reporting at Coinbase, the leading cryptocurrency exchange in the US and a global market leader. She is responsible for the firm's tax information reporting operation for digital assets. Before joining Coinbase in 2021, Beatriz was with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., for over 20 years where she was the Vice President of Tax and Cost Basis Operations.
Beatriz is an active participant in industry committees and is serving a three year term on the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Council (IRSAC). She holds a BA from Dominican University of California.
